Mayahuel is the blue Aztec goddess of maguey plants (agave) and all the goodness that comes with them: tequila, mescal, and rope from the fibers. In the codices she is shown as being formed out of a maguey. Being a fertility goddess, she has 400 nipples with which to feed the people. She lives in the volcano Popocatépetl and is loved by all.⁠⠀
