This is the public debut for this piece.

In the ancient Greek legend, Zeus came to visit Danae as gold coins, paying for the privilege of her company. Rembrandt, in his magnificent painting of the legend, changed the visual theme to Zeus arriving to her as golden light. In my turn, I changed it so that she is the light.

This is also the first major work making use of my new color theory developed fully in the Wave Series (2020) and debuted at the Figure Ground in September of 2021.
